Our last group shot.

Like so many of us, I was initially reluctant to spend my weekend at the mosque even though it is just next to my house. It is proven by the number of participant who attended the 2D1N camp at Al-Iman. Eventually, I'm certain that each of us brought home a lesson or two from the camp.

It was an experience. Not to mention, the soothing emotions that washed over me upon hearing the Azan. In addition, the MUIS representative who shared an astonishing story about the Tsunami in Banda Aceh and the many religion beliefs that we never knew of. I literally felt my back hair standing when hearing him narrate to us the power of Allah swt during the Tsunami.

It wasn't that bad after all. What is good, I tell you, is the buffet spread out for us for the two days. Just like in the hotel. :) To add, it was also our first time having BBQ in a mosque. We were lucky none of the residents in the block next to the mosque complained about the din we made close to 0100hrs.
